I know exactly what you mean. And I think that's why I love songwriters like Roger Waters and Pete Townshend so much - they have a gift of being able to express those universal, yet so difficult to express, feelings in their songs. The Final Cut is just one of many examples of Waters' brilliance in that respect.

I love Roger's songs. People give him crap for some of his work. They call him like the "darkest person in Rock and Roll," that's a load of crap in my opinion. I think he's a brilliant philosopher, a voice for the people, like me, who seem to be mute.

And I am so glad I'm not alone. I mean when no one can relate to you, you find yourself thinking "F*@# I really am losing it, my mind is finally going..."

And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear
You shout and no one seems to hear
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes
