My tribute to an underrated solo.
Sorry if this is against the rules, but I have spent years not ever wanting to do the youtube thing, but boredom and a relatively new love for this song persuaded me.

Dont have david's tube driver or flange but a couple boss pedals can kinda suffice.

thanks to David of course.

Not bad! I wasn't anticipating that being the particular piece you did, so good on you. The Division Bell doesn't really get a lot of love outside of the die-hards, but even then it's confined to the die-hards who didn't think the band went tits up when Roger left.

Wanna tackle Dick Parry's part too? Laughing

I liked it a lot. That song is one of the better ones on that album, in my opinion (along with High Hopes, A Great Day For Freedom and Cluster One).

This reminds me, I really need to finish my version of Mother.

Very good.
And it's indeed an underrated solo, even by the Maestro himself. According to Ezrin, David didn't really want a guitar solo in that song but was talked into letting it stay. by him and Rick, who loved it.

Clearly they knew something he didn't.

of course they must have. Thank you all so much for the words. David has always won me over with his attention to detail, and these solo's in particular play the detail and the rock n roll punch of it.
