David is definately the best ever interpretor of Syd's songs. Probably because they knew each other so well, and were playing together from their early teens.
I can well imagine the two of them eventually getting to work together, if Syd hadn't become ill.

The Dark Globe cover is truly painful. David and Rick helped him with his albums, and also produced one.
