RE: Roger On Howard Stern
Yes it was but Howard gave way too much credit to Roger for too many things.

Howard gave him full credit for The Wall, Dark Side and Wish You Were Here.
While The Wall was mainly written by Roger, he did not do all of it. Perfect example is Comfortably Numb...Gilmour wrote that for his first solo album. Dark Side, I think Rick would have quite a bit to say to Howard about that claim if he was still with us and WYWH, at least Roger broke in and corrected Howard on the title song at least and said it was done by David as well.

Yes he did indeed, but that kept Roger in a good mood, which made for a very relaxed and funny interview.

Thanks for the link Pinkfloydfan.

I don't blame Howard Stern for screwing up, as far as ascribing credit is concerned. I don't peg him as a Floydian, so it's doubtful he'd have an encyclopedic recall of who did what for which album. I think it would have been far ruder for Roger to spend the entire interview correcting him than not.

I honestly think that was the only way to have a proper interview with Roger. He did it the right way, even though what he says might sound offending.

RE: Roger On Howard Stern
A most revealing interview. Howard Stern`s irreverence, although crass at times, was just the thing to bring Roger out of his shell. A lot of interviewers "tread on egg-shells" so-to-speak, because they`ve heard he can be difficult. Stern`s approach (ie driving through his pauses, not allowing him to settle, etc.) made for a candid interview.
"So Roger....bang any famous women?...."
Roger, when asked about the band`s pre-Floyd education..."...Dave?...College?....God no, he drove a van....".
All good stuff.
