Okay, so I have the RTN DVD (bought it on release day in 2007) and have found the picture quality to be rather poor, with much of the picture looking "grainy", something a lot of people have said, though the 5.1 sound is really good.

Does anyone here have the Blu-ray version and is it any better? I'd definitely re-buy it on Blu-ray if it has better picture than the DVD.

Dyolf- Unfortunately I can't recommend this. I bought my Blu-ray player specifically for this DVD and have been really dissapointed. It doesn't look much different from my standard DVD. The stage still looks grainy from the more distant camera angles and even the closer images don't look right. Granted, my equipment is 5 years old:

2008 Sharp Aquos, 43", 1080
2008 Panasonic Blu-ray (can't remember the model)

But having said that- my 2008 Paul Mac looks awesome and my new Rush Time Machine is maybe the best I've ever seen quality wise.

I don't know what happened with RTN, maybe it was transferred wrong or something, because I've read similar reviews on Amazon.
