not any new music but what do you guys think of Relics, Works and A Collection of Great Dance Songs...simply for the diversity I find my self listening to Works alot, and of course Relics is simply AWESOME , but I must admit I haven't listened to "Collection" in a long time...

Works was the second album of Pink Floyd's I ever listened to. Alot of people here have said they don't like collection albums, because they only have pieces of concepts as opposed to hearing the entire message on just one album. Works includes:

One of These Days
Arnold Layne
Fearless
Brain Damage
Eclipse
Set the Controls for The Heart of the Sun
See Emily Play
Several Species Of Small creatures...
Free Four
Embryo

Like I said it's what got me into Pink Floyd other works, originally all I had was The Wall, and got me listening to their other stuff.

And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear
You shout and no one seems to hear
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Lois don't be alarmed-but I think I'm Jesus

'Works' is decent, 'Relics' is a must-have for any PF fan and 'Collection' is pointless (my dad still listens to it sometimes for some reason).

i've got collection and i never ever listen to it. i love listening to relics, i think it's a really good mix of songs and that fact that includes see emily play, arnold layne, and julia dream totally rules. i don't have works so i can't really comment on it.

I own all those mentioned and I love A Collection of Dance Songs, it's a nice mix of songs.

American by birth, Floydian by obsession.

Well, all three have something that cannot be found anywhere else: Relics has some of those early singles, Works has the alternate mixes, Embryo and the Speak To Me One Of These Days Medley and Collection has the David Gilmour version of Money and the edit of SOYCD closer to what the song looked like in its beginnings. So definitely worthy for a real fan.
