Heat heat heat heat heat
I spent four weeks in Texas, and it was way too hot there all the time.

Then I travelled East to Florida for a week, and it was just as hot, and also way too humid.

Now I'm home again in Belgium, and I'm fairly certain that the temperature is easily breaking records yesterday and today. While I have to study for an exam I have to redo. This is madness. D:

Yeppers, now just ask any Right wing politician or supporter in the U.S. and they'll tell you there's no such thing as global warming...their proof? It still snows in the Winter.

I wasn't aiming to bring up global warming! Just ranting about how hot it gets, even though I don't entirely dislike good weather.

Today is better though. Much cooler, but still nice weather. If I go for my daily run now, at least I won't be completely baked by the time I get back.

By the way, on a side note: Very cold winters can actually be caused by global warming.

The weather was pretty insane around here the last couple months, but the last two weeks have been heavenly. Very low dew points so there's hardly any humidity, and while it's been in the mid-80s, with dry air, it doesn't feel uncomfortable at all.

RE: Heat heat heat heat heat
This has been the hottest, most uncomfortable lousy summer that I can remember. We had no rain (not 1 drop) for a 6 week period in June July. Southern Wisconsin was declared a drought area. This is crazy.......my lawn looks like a desert waste area.

I live in a somewhat rural area just outside Milwaukee, and I can tell you that this summer was hell for the local farmers. They rely on selling their produce at local markets and so forth and they just had nothing this year. What was just as bad is that when we finally got a measurable amount of rain in early August.....it just ran off and dries because the ground is like concrete.

I am so looking forward to fall.

I'm with you there. Fall is my favorite time of year. Neither hot, nor cold.
