The only thing close to decent is "On the Turning Away" and "One Slip" and even those are just..average

AMLOR is ok. Very 80's sounding. Not my cup o' tea. I do like Sorrow, though.

That's true. However it does sound very dated. Not all albums made in the 80s sound "80s", if you know what I mean. Lots of synths, drum machines, slick production....it will always sound like 1987 no matter when you listen to it.
