I have been lucky enough to see a lot of shows,{ Van Halen,Clapton,Bowie,Zappa,Eagles,Doobies,Uncle Ted,Elton,Pretenders,Petty,BB King,Jeff Beck...lots of others }. Even better than The Wall { yep I saw that too } It was an unforgettable concert. I saw it in 1975 at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. In my opinion it is without a doubt the best album ever recorded.
Not to often do you run into someone who saw a 1975 Pink Floyd show. I know that was nearly 40 years ago, but do you have any specific memories that stand out?
Same with The Wall show.
I do have some great memories from both shows, don't know how much you or anyone would want to read...I'll try and keep it kinda short. I remember my mom waiting in the rain to get the tickets for me, just had gotten my license and first trip was to downtown Los Angeles ( great parents ). Walking in there were people being tackled by LAPD and arrested. The show starts, sound was incredible, I could sum it up in 1 word ... Perfection. It was like watching them record the album. The airplane crashed on stage exactly on time, they had the round screen behind them, don't really remember what was on it think a lot of kaleidoscope kinda stuff. Like you said it was a long time ago ( thx for making me think of how long it was ). I wish I could recall it in detail for you. As for The Wall,I'd be glad to but that'll be another time, maybe another thread, just ask or tell me where.Just stumbled across this place, don't really know protocol. Sorry didn't end up being short.

Wondering if my remembering the perfection of that show was correct, you have a boot of the show. Or was it just a overwhelmed and excited 17 yr old at my first concert. Now thinking if I want you to ruin my memory...lol. It would be cool to hear. NON FLOYD ALERT... I was at The Eagles Hotel California tour and they put it out as a live album, and its cool to listen to and it kinda takes you back. And talk about perfection.
