A Momentary Lapse of Reason is missing. It's my answer too. I got into Floyd big time in 1987 having only ever owned DSotM.

I can't honestly say that any one Pink Floyd record changed my life. I can say however that their music as a whole has given me a sense of enjoyment that's hard to describe. If I was forced to choose an era of the band that I love the most, I would probably go with 1970-1972.
