A Momentary Lapse is pretty bad, and The Division Bell isn't too good either. I find both of em to be pretty boring. The serious lack of Roger really shows in both of em. I don't even consider it 'Floyd' without Roger. It's David, with a backing band. I mean, A Momentary Lapse of Reason is more of a solo album than the Final Cut is!

Snake, history will never know what she did. No one will ever learn the truth. Her story... her debriefing... will endure only in your heart. Everything she did, she did for her country. She sacrificed her life and her honor for her native land. She was a real hero. She was a true patriot. ~ EVA re: The Boss (MGS3)

I voted for "Poor." There just ain't a lot of substance w/o Roger. Of course, I don't much care for Roger w/o the rest of Floyd, either.

Chemistry.

momentary wasnt the best but I like division bell. had some good hits and gilmour was able to be more free in guitar play etc on his own. Besides any post-waters album kicks rogers pros and cons of hitchiking right in the mouth.

Though I worship Roger, I must admit that the Division Bell has begun to grow on me, so I can't say poor or awful. I do think though, lyrically there's something missing in the album, musically strong by lyrically weak....then again to each his own I suppose.

And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear
You shout and no one seems to hear
And if the band you're in starts playing different tunes
I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

I voted Good - lacking Roger, but still good stuff. AMLoR is my least favorite, as of right now, by Floyd. TDB, IMO, has some weak spots but I enjoy it better than AMLoR.

It's pretty awful stuff. It really bugs me that Gilmour had basically a staff to write lyrics with/for him...he could write good lyrics, look at "Childhood's End" and "Fat Old Sun." Without any of the group it is not the same, but Waters was a huge part of what Pink Floyd had become after The Dark Side of the Moon, and without him...it just didn't click.

If it ain't dirty, don't clean it.

I couldn't chose any of the poll-options...so it's other.
I think the post Waters Floyd is very good. It's very clear, looking at lyrics, Roger isn't with them anymore. But I can't say it's better or worse.

They're Gilmour solo albums IMHO
It's a pity that the albums were released under the name Pink Floyd because some of the good material (High Hopes, for example) gets ignored, because in the eyes of purists, and Roger Waters, it's just a forgery.
The worst thing, lyrically, is Gilmour's apparent attempt to give the audience what they would expect from a Pink Floyd album-songs about war, the fate of the downtrodden in society etc, it smacks of insincerity, I'm not saying Gilmour doesn't care about these issues (Donating his home to Shelter shows he does) it's just that it comes across as contrived.
