I'd have to say it, "Coming back to life" on Division Bell or my #1 choice, "Terminal Frost" from AMLOR.

Yes, the Gilmor-era Floyd. However, Echoes is very good and so is Wish you Were Here and Time.

Wow, I totally forgot. Terminal Frost indeed! I love that song... Definitely my favorite one from the post-Waters era. The saxophone solo is just perfect. :)

Terminal Frost has the distinction of being both the best song title in their canon AND being the best song that could possibly accompany a love scene in a cheesy 80s cop drama.

I'm not kidding. I've heard other people tell me it reminds them of the theme to Blade Runner. VERY 80s, but that's why I like it. Sometimes that sound works.

I have three that always lift my spirits:
1. Fearless
2. High Hopes
3. On The Turning Away

These usually help to draw me out of any funk I might be in.

High Hopes usually has the opposite effect on me -- as I listen to it and realize not only how effing phenomenal it is, but that it was the last track on the last album.....it makes me profoundly sad.

I wish they'd done one more album. :(

But then after THAT album, you would be wishing for one MORE album!
(I know I would!BlushingWub)

High Hopes does have a saddening effect on me too. I just try not to think of it as their swan song per say. I try to keep it uplifting, if I can:)

It's funny, but most of the Pink Floyd Fans I have met online as well as in person don't really like this song. I think it is highly underrated.
