The movie is the most pretentious, wanky, artsy-for-the-sake-of-being-artsy thing I've ever seen. seriously.

Agreed! The movie is absolutely horrible, and as a Floyd collector, it's something that I just will not shell out money for!

But the album? Yeah the concept is a little bleak and overbearing but there are too many beautiful musical moments to just dismiss it all.

Goodbye Blue Sky, Is There Anybody Out There?, ABITW part 1, The Trial. Anyone????? Not to mention Comfy, Run Like Hell, Mother.

It is by no means my fave Floyd album, but not a throwaway either.

it should be in the big 5. if san tropez and seamus were eliminated and 2 better songs put in than it would be a tie with the wall.

Actually, Meddle would be in this just because of Echoes. In my opinion, you could as well say that Atom Heart Mother should be in it.

The Wall is definitely one of the most important albums in history. The sales don't lie, by the way. Lyrically, in my humble opinion, it's the best that Pink Floyd has done, without exceptions.

Meddle... Echoes.. , Fearless, two of my favorite Floyd songs..

I choose The Wall.

I prefer Meddle, but The Wall plays a big role in Pink Floyd and rock and roll history.
