Alright: hopefully this hasn't been posted already...

What Floyd tracks and/or albums do you listen to during certain seasons? Do you listen to certain things during the winter more than you listen to them in say, the spring?

For me, Piper at the Gates of Dawn, Obscured by Clouds, Atom Heart Mother, Meddle, and Ummagumma are my more of my "summer" Floyd. These albums stand out for me as the kind of ones that sound great being blasted outside at 2 in the morning...They sound great when they bounce and travel across the water.

but what you've got means such a lot to me
Roger Keith "Syd" Barrett - January 6, 1946 - July 7, 2006
Richard William Wright - July 28, 1943 - September 15, 2008

Not really, or should I say, not that I've noticed. It more depends upon my mood than upon the weather.

Every season is good for Floyd, but i do the understand where you are coming from flaming pie when you say early Floyd is nice played in the summer.

Candy And A Currant Bun is my summer song.

It's true, sun shining very bright
It's you, I'm gonna love tonight
Ice cream, tastes good in the afternoon
Ice cream, tastes good if you eat it soon

I bet it wouldn't be if they had used the original lyrics.
