That reminds me, I'll probably get more first, seeing as I have Ummagumma on vinyl. But then again the live disc makes a strong case for Ummagumma

Yeah, I was sifting through the new-arrivals and I saw Ummagumma, and I'm like, I need to get this, cause I knew I wasn't likely to find it any other place. And I was right!
I was having trouble tracking down Animals on vinyl, but now I have a copy, cause my girlfriend gave me it as a gift =)
I'm still having trouble locating The Piper at the Gates of Dawn and A Saucerful of Secrets on vinyl, those are the two I want next
then Atom Heart Mother, and Meddle, then I'll finish my Floyd collection off with More and Obscured..if I ever manage to find them.
That's my ideal order, but if I see one of them, hell yeah I'll get it, cause I'm all for having their entire discography on vinyl. Oh and I'm sure i'll find a copy of Relics here or there

I still need Atom Heart Mother, Early Singles, and Zabriskie Point (only want the Floyd material)...what's AHM like? I listened to the samples on itunes and Summer '68 stood out the most
Also, what other non-bootleg live releases are there besides ITAOT?, Pompeii, Pulse, and DSOT?

AHM is great - I love the title track and APB, they're great psychedelic epics. I personally won't bother getting Zabriskie Point because it's got so much non-Floyd material that would make it a waste of money - if I want to hear the Floyd songs sometime I'll just download them.
For The Early Singles, I just downloaded CAACB, Apples and Oranges, IWBSN and PMATS on LimeWire and then used my copies of the other songs from Piper and Relics to make the CD - it's too hard to get on its own and it's a waste of money to get Shine On just for one disc.

Three Different Ones Wrote:I also don't have Pulse, A Momentary Lapse of Reason, Delicate Sound of Thunder, or the Division Bell, but I have no intention of buying any of those.
You should definately get The Division Bell, especially if you haven't heard it. It's quite excellent. Hell, download it if you don't want to pay for it, but definately listen to it.
No need to buy Momentary because, other than Sorrow, it's a piece of ****. Delicate and Pulse have nothing new on them so they are not needed either.

I've heard TDB a few times, I'm not generally impressed with it. There are a few alright tracks, other than that..idk. I wouldn't mind if someone gave it to me as a gift or something, but i'd rather not spend 15 bucks on it

It took me a long time to get into TDB, mainly seeing David live earlier this year. High Hopes was just magnificent live and I have greater appreciation for his work after seeing first hand just how great of a musician that he is.
