the TDB is pretty good i'm just not a fan of the ladies singing in the background

i don't know why, i think it brings pink floyd's spacey out of this world sound WAY WAY down to earth... that's weird i know...

Quote:AHM is great - I love the title track and APB, they're great psychedelic epics. I personally won't bother getting Zabriskie Point because it's got so much non-Floyd material that would make it a waste of money - if I want to hear the Floyd songs sometime I'll just download them.
For The Early Singles, I just downloaded CAACB, Apples and Oranges, IWBSN and PMATS on LimeWire and then used my copies of the other songs from Piper and Relics to make the CD - it's too hard to get on its own and it's a waste of money to get Shine On just for one disc.
I was going to just get the Floyd stuff of ZP, but I dont have limewire and I cant get the Early Singles from that, and iTunes doesnt have it

Quote:You should definately get The Division Bell, especially if you haven't heard it. It's quite excellent. Hell, download it if you don't want to pay for it, but definately listen to it.
No need to buy Momentary because, other than Sorrow, it's a piece of ****. Delicate and Pulse have nothing new on them so they are not needed either.
I agree with you on TDB, and if you were to only download certain songs, then get What do you Want From Me, Marooned, Coming back to Life, Keep Talking, and definitely High Hopes, but there are some other pretty good ones too, and as for AMLOR, Sorrow is pretty good, but Learning to Fly and especially On the Turning Away are even better, so definitely get at least those too.

RIP Syd Barrett - 1/6/46 - 7/7/06
RIP Rick Wright - 7/28/43 - 9/15/08

I disagree - IMO Sorrow is actually one of the weaker tracks on the album. Signs Of Life makes a great beginning, and On The Turning Away is a nice anthem, like Wish You Were Here. I also like Yet Another Movie/Round And Around, while my personal favourite track is Terminal Frost.

well, outside of their Early Singles CD thingy, all I have left to get is Relics, Works and A Great Collection of Dance Songs.

I just ordered Relics and am going to download Embryo from Works for $0.99. (I won't download any PF officially released music illegally)

I'm really excited, but i know this won't be the last PF CD I buy...lol.
I still don't have Dark Side of the Moon...well I do, but it was a burned copy. I just don't have enough money to just keep buying, so I'll still to what I need the most.

I finished my Floyd collection of studio albums

My last three were More, Ummagumma, and Meddle, i believe

So now i've gotta get live stuff like Pompeii, bootlegs, and stuff like that

Snake, history will never know what she did. No one will ever learn the truth. Her story... her debriefing... will endure only in your heart. Everything she did, she did for her country. She sacrificed her life and her honor for her native land. She was a real hero. She was a true patriot. ~ EVA re: The Boss (MGS3)
