None of the above. The Final Cut and Coming back to life are both far more emotional for me than any of the above.

Wish You Were Here for me as it brings back memories of my now deceased little bro, but having said that as far as an emotional song in reference to the band I would have to go with Shine On.

Jugband Blues....its syds last song with Floyd, and the lyrics are very sad, almost as if it gives a picture of his mental state at that time.....plus its a brillant song...


High hopes was very close for me, but not the studio version, the live version with the backing singers, the synth, and the slide guitar is very emotional...

Even though I have not voted for it TWO SUNS IN THE SUNSETS is quite an emotional song even though about nuclear destruction the little girls voice adds some poignancy to the track

Yeah, me too, but theres a lot to choose from. I don't really see why Pigs on the Wing is on there though... ???

Lot's of great picks from that list! Good Job!

While I don't think there's a definitive song that stands out above the rest of the selections, I went with "Two Suns"......just for the sheer universal finality of it, made so ironic by that soothing saxaphone solo at the end. Absolutely chill inducing!

"Ashes and Diamonds.....Foe and Friend....We were all equal in the end"......that about says it all right there. Hopefully that day never comes.
