Based on this list I chose: On The Turnig Away, however I would have chosen (given the chance) to vote for Is There Anybody Out There? The guitar work has always been very emotional to me.

American by birth, Floydian by obsession.

High Hopes is quite emotional too when you think about. The Mr Screen video suits the slide solo brilliantly and on the original Pulse PPV its quite sad when it shows the Syd statue thing moving in sync with the solo.

On The Turning Away the lyrics are meaningful when you think about sounds like there about poverty money etc and the fact people turn away from it all and try and forget about it.

Wasn't on the turning away about the troubles in NORTHERN IRELAND? its has a gallic feel to it

It has to be High Hopes because it marks the end of a truely biblical era.

Although, Us and Them was played at a friend's funeral so everytime i hear it, it reminds me of him. May he listen to Pink Floyd on heaven's largest set of speakers. rocker
