DSOM 30TH ANNIVERSERY SACD - UNUSUAL ARTIFACT GGITS
#1
Nice to be with more of the same mind. My question to you all is quite simple. On the 30th Ann. Edition SACD of DSOM, during Great Gig In The Sky, at approx. 4:34 to 4:36 there seems to be a large wow or something in the recording. Sounds like vinyl that has a warp in it. Can anyone say what this might be? Don't know if this is one of the areas that was stretched/shrunk to fit lp or such. I haven't checked this out on the lp version yet.
Thanks...

I checked the standard cd, one of my vinyls, the SACD DSD layer, and a stereo 8 track, its on all of them. Its not for time formating, removing music all together would be the solution to that. whatever it is, its intentional since Guthrie left it on the High Rez layers of the SACD, yet corrected the wowing effect at the beginning.
