Poll: The most overrated album

I think Dark Side, The Wall, and WYWH deserve every bit of praise they get. Since Animals seems to be held to some godly status around here... I'll choose that album. Funny cause I'm really getting into it, but I can tell its not on the same level as the other three. Dogs/Sheep = great, Pigs On the Wing = harmless fun, and good, Pigs = except for the first part, can't say I like it too much, and that's 10 mins. of album time right there. If Pigs were as good as Dogs and Sheep, then it's up there.

Yeah, there's a certain forum meber *cough*ERIC*cough* that would lead you to believe that Pigs is the best song on Animals. I also might add that he insists that The Beatles are better than Pink Floyd.

I don't agree with Three Different Ones about Dark Side but i DO agree with him about Pigs being the best song on Animals.
That's why i'm called Pinks PIG,oink oink.
The concept of Animals is beautifully put together and Pigs is a harsh reality in your face track.The lyrics are just top notch.

Dogs lyrics are pretty in your face as well. The lyrics are just as good, if not better than PIgs. And the music is a lot better.

I'm not complaining though and don't want to get in an argument. Pigs is still in my top 5 favorite Floyd songs.

Your right,Dogs lyrics are right in your face,it's one of the best songs Roger ever wrote,but i like the concept of the album,the sheep controlled by the dogs and the pigs control the dogs.All power to the mighty PIGS.
And the pig sounds on Pigs send a shiver down my spine.
Dogs does have some of the best lines in it.

Doesn't get much better than this..

I gotta admit that I'm a little bit confused
Sometimes it seems to me as if I'm just being used
Gotta stay awake, gotta try and shake off this creeping malaise
If I don't stand on my own ground,
How can I find my own way out of this maze?

One thing i do give Dogs over Pigs is that it goes on for a lot longer.
