Go on then, I'll rise to it. Here is my assessment of the lyrics of the song you have put forward, and in some cases my comparisons of those lyrics with Sorrow.

Mother - Don't be silly. 3 verses of pretty poor writing.

Imagine - The Communist dream. Never been too fond of it. It's hardly that clever in its writing anyway.

Gimme Some Truth - It loses it's way into a meaningless list. Gimme a rest...

Woman is the Nigger of the World - You've got more of a point with this one than with previous choices. Still say it loses out to Sorrow though...think about it.

Nobody Loves You (When You're Down and Out) - Ok lyrics, hardly genius. However, one pertinent, self-prophetical line: "Everybody loves you when you're six foot in the ground".

Steel and Glass - Rubbish.

Working Class Hero - Considering Lennon was the least working class of The Beatles, it's small wonder this song's as much drivel as it is. A working class hero is something to drone on about.

Love - This song is pointless, pointless is this song.

Isolation - Certainly one of Lennon's solo better-uns. Wouldn't rate its lyrics over Sorrow though.

Remember - Same in regard as Isolation. Though these songs aside, the album should be Plastic Ono Banned. And it seems he goes on about his dead mother even more than Roger Waters goes on about his dead father. Difference is, Roger writes good songs.

God - I don't believe in Lennon's solo career.

And for goodness sake, don't go on and on.
