animals - very calming mood

I've never heard of Animals being described as "calming" before.

Well, I would consider both Pigs on the Wing parts calming, as well as the beginning and later parts of Sheep, but you're pretty much right.

Dark Side is my all-time favorite, but Animals has been getting a lot of playtime lately, especially Dogs, such a gooooood song

Pigs on the Wing and Dogs are pretty mellow, yet awesome songs.

The Piper at the Gates of Dawn and The Wall are the only ones that have had a lasting effect on me.

I can understand POTW being described as mellow, but Dogs, Sheep and Pigs (Three Different Ones) have never been songs I've seen as particularly calming or soothing or even simple.
