Well, I would consider both Pigs on the Wing parts calming, as well as the beginning and later parts of Sheep, but you're pretty much right.

Dark Side is my all-time favorite, but Animals has been getting a lot of playtime lately, especially Dogs, such a gooooood song

I can understand POTW being described as mellow, but Dogs, Sheep and Pigs (Three Different Ones) have never been songs I've seen as particularly calming or soothing or even simple.
