lil help please? - concerning bends

I have the same problem, although not as bad as when I first started. I'm still rather new at playing (started last november), so I'm guessing good technique will come with time and practice. You should concern yourself with judging where your bends are going first though. What I mean is, try to learn specifically how to bend a half step, then a whole step, then one and a half steps, etc... I did not do this, and when I bend it sounds like ****. I need to work on it :(
