The first Floyd song I learned on guitar (no surprise here) was Wish You Were Here. This was quickly followed up with Set the Controls For The Heart of the Sun....

I think my first was Goodbye Blue Sky, followed by things like Wish You Were Here, Set the Controls, Dogs (the first 3 minutes or so), etc.

My first tune was Set The Controls.

I was so excited even thou i hadn't even figured out how to tune my gutiar hahaa.....

although one must cut me some slack as it was my first day....

actually, i want to take guitar lessons to learn. the first PF song i want (so bad!!!!) to learn is..is there anybody out there. in about a year or so, that WILL be the song i can play!!

am i being optimistic saying it will only take a year??? i honestly dont know!! :upside:

yeah, it does. ill have alot of time to practice since i decided to take a year off and "withdraw" from "the real world".

but i digress...didnt mean to get off topic there.
