Actually wasn't it Dave who taught Syd how to play, I'm pretty sure that's right. I voted for Syd, just because he's so creative, and such a brilliant artist in general.

Syd had (past tense) some talent, on a level of a Donovan or a Arlo Guthrie. If his talent had matured it may have been on a level of a Gilmour or a Waters or maybe Waters hero Andrew Lloyd Webber.

syds mother was a teacher who taught roger. david did teach syd how to play guitar. thats why dave fans are jealous of syd. coz syd turned out to be better than dave.

im starting a conspiracy thread soon. in my opinion, david gilmour plied drugs into syd to become the singer and guitarist with pink floyd. think about it. who stood more to gain from syd leaving the band?

Thats an awful thing to say because you know its not true. Your smart and you could come up with much better replys.
