Threaded Mode | Linear Mode

ok, my older sister has an old accoustic Harmony(the korean one) Marquis

This guitar, although supposedly cheap, seems to only have 19 frets.

So i'm wondering, how many frets are on a normal accoustic guitar?

Also, is this a good one to learn on? It does need new strings and a new nut, and some other small repairs though

Most seem to have 20 frets, but 19 is not unheard of. I wouldn't really worry about it. If it's a non-cutaway you can't reach those frets very easily anyway.
I would suggest bringing it to your local music store/guitar technician and getting it evaluated. If they tell you it's useable, they can also install a new nut/strings and do a setup for you and you'll be on your way. Good luck.

older gutars the better the wood has harden making the tone better

i have one with 19 frets and one with 20
