i've been playing the guitar for 5yrs and i like to think of myself as pretty good. I mostly enjoy playing pink floyd stuff and i really need some help with, compressor pedals.....i understand what they do kinda....lol but on mine i have a level, attack and sustain knob.... Could anyone tell me for most pink floyd stuff where i should set these knobs...Thankyu

With my Edward the Compressor, i turned attatch down to '9' (imagining the dial as a clock), compression of to '2' , tone up to '1' . I see your pedal has different knowbs. I would say to turn level to ''2' , sustain to '3' and attack between '9' and '12'

And the award for best named guitar pedal of all time goes to...Edward the Compressor!

Like Edward the Confessor, a King of England from long long long ago. Cool that wowser had one seeing as his name is Edward, and he loved to play virtually everything with the compressor effect.

That was back then. Today, Edward the one-time Compressor (wowser) has joined me in the land of acoustic-only folkiness. He no longer owns an electric guitar. The sound of wood.

It tidies up your playing, evening it out. It's hard to say, but it makes it sound more like you're a session musician. They are my favourite pedals

the wall album has the most compression

it is added to give that slightly better edge to the tone and helps boost the treble
