It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that Comfortably Numb's solos are the best in known existance.

In fact it (the last one) was recently voted by a local paper in the South east as the greatest of all time.

I prefer the Delicate Sound version though, it's such a finale piece.

I prefer the solos on AHM, APB, OOTD, Mudmen, Time, Money, ACYL, SOYCD and Dogs.

Dogs. Though Marooned was close in second.
So beauty-full...

Oh, and BMT, TFC and the P*U*L*S*E version of AD. I think the CN solo, and in fact the whole song, is very overrated.

lets see...I think it pretty much goes between Dogs, and COnfortably Numb...there are those who love the second one, and I incllude myself amongst them, for the way the simplicity of a pentaphonic scale, but played with an astounding "soul". but, I must say, the when it com,es down to the "best" solo, I would say that Dogs is the answer..this is beacuse, the song is divided into different sections, each one represented and played differently, and when the time of the guitar solo comes, it leaves you breathless, in those orgasm-like pauses when you dont know if David will ever play the first note of the solo. It puts you in the edge of an ever so tall building and then softly pushes you down, and the fall is the almost a minute second solo of the song... in my opinion...second to none..!
please let me know if someone feels the way I do (Vera)
Cheers,
Pablo
