Grandson likes the Epiphone Les Paul Standard. He's played it and that what he wants. Hope it's worth it

I've got an Epiphone Les Paul Custom Alpine White and it's great. Thumbsup

One question Liam, can I put a whammy bar on it, because it is obviously miles better than my old Fender Squire but I do miss the whammy?

The answer is no as the bridges are all diffrent you can fit a bigsby trem on it but truthfully its just like using vibrato and not worth the hassle plus it can cut your sustain

I have an 8 String Spector bass and leave it tuned like so...

Low E / Octave {E}
Low A / Octave {A}
Low D / 4th {A}
Low G / 4th {C}

Makes for interesting voicings. I got that tuning from Chris Squire. He uses it for "Changes" and "Hearts" from 90210. Same kind of tuning works great on 12 string guitars as well rocker

The Spector neck is actually surprisingly thin for housing 8 strings.

The question about signal path... lately I have been using the Kubicki Basses into a POD line 6 XT Live foot pedalboard {sounds dialed in and many of them to choose}. Into an Acoustic Head, out to 1 cab 4x12 / 1 cab 8 10's /1 cab 1x18. Thunderous low end but punchy and clear in the mids and top. rocker

I know this is going to appear foolish to many and a shining example of what's wrong with "the Interweb" but right now at least nine people including Dyolf cannot miss this one.
Please forgive me. I mean no disrespect or personal insults. Truly.
