Hi there,
Everybody, we just thought we, (with your permission), would set a little 'corner of some foreign field' in cyber space over to announce the arrival of a new top level Floyd tribute namely "Pynk Floid".
Plus......(for a topical starter for ten have a look at the queation at the end of this message......!)
Thre is no doubt as this band gains further momentum and appreciation, from Floydians and music fans alike, there will be times when we will gather here in the cold moon of morning to discuss all things Pink, so to get the ball rolling we have left a question at the foot of this posting for you to cogitate, chew, spit, argue and foam at the mouth over!!!
If you do get the chance please come and see the band..after all we are only 6 performances into our life as a Tribute, a really good chance for you to catch us in the early days and get involved right from the start, as we are getting fantastic feedback, even from Coldplay fans, not sure if that is a blessing or a curse!! LOL.....(probably a curse IMHO, and I did say probably!!)..!!

Pynk Floid ask, need, request and will ultimately respect your honest and of course musically educated opinions on how close we are getting to the original feel and sound of a genuine Pink Floyd show, as we do think we are getting very close, however, we just need you the real Floyd fans to tell us where we need to improve and progress with the set list and light/laser show.. the hardest part of being in a band is that you never really get to see or hear yourself, so we have to rely on you guys to make it real, I am sure you know what I mean!!
Anyway..this is obviously a blatant plug for the band..and honestly the best place to start is with the hearts and minds of those who love it best, such as your good selves and the band members (forgiveness is mandatory/obligatory), so, I dare not bore you with a pretentious gig list, however if you require one I will e-mail it to you, please send an email requesting our newsletter to the e-mail above...
However, if you are one of the very many who have already witnessed our performances!!!, then please do leave us your honest impressions, comparisons and suggestions to further our improvement and ensure the reproduction of the finest and most thought porovoking music ever written...

There is we feel is a concensus that the Pigs in (Pigs 3 Different Ones) from Animals, refer to and,(without naming names)... are,..in a very particular order....
1. A very fat unscrupulous businessman...
2. A soon to be a prominent, corrupt and malicious politician...
and..
3. A very small minded and moralistic demon from middletown surburbia with an attention seeking disorder of the third degree..
However...
Pynk Floid asks you to start a string of comment on the following.....
Which 3 modern day public figures (pigs) do you think Roger would have put into the lyric if he was writing it today in 2005...
