We are pleased to announce that Dr. Eric Ware will be performing with Spacement. Eric is an incredibly talented keyboardist and his addition to the band has bought us to another level. He has worked in the past with Bill Laswell, Buckethead, Ben Wa and many, many more.

Spacement will be playing at Spancky's in Cotati, CA on Saturday December 9th. Opening the show is The Ghost Next Door, an all original band from the Bay Area. These guys are good so check them out. This is a FREE show!

Spacement will be:

Eric McIntire - bass & vocals
Phil Corsetti - guitar
Chris Curry - sax/keyboards
A.J. Chippero - drums
and introducing...
Dr. Eric Ware - keyboards/samples/backing vocals

You won't want to miss this line up. It's gonna smoke!!!

Does this mean you're no longer the world's most inauthentic Floyd tribute?

Well hold on a minute there Alex, perhaps the new keyboard player will not alter the equation that much. Let's see what Mr. Spacement has to say :unclesam:

"his addition to the band has bought us to another level."

...I don't know how anyone affords these type of expenses in Floyd tributes (gilmost scratches head with concerned look...)

...and then is it:
UN - authentic
IN - authentic or
NON - authentic
I just need to know the next time PFX is in the same sentence with any one, or all these great prefixes... :)

Well I'm sure we're still somewhere between the world's most unauthentic and sloppiest Pink Floyd tribute. I'll leave the "world's best" and "most authentic" for you other guys to claim.

We're still just a bar band with fancy lasers playing the music that we grew up with. One day we'll get it right and then we'll try our hand at Barry Manilow. ;-)

After all, you are music and you write the songs! :upside:

Just to be clear, I think the "unauthentic" or "sloppiest" moniker is a brilliant lampoon of some of the tag lines used by our tribute bretheren in promoting their acts.

So what do you guys think of this:

"The Khazakstani Pink Floyd Show"
(aka TKPFS)

I'm trying to think of new slogans/strategies and with all the Borat hype going around, I think the time is right for TKPFS.
Cool
