I have added many Pink Floyd tribute bands to the Wikipedia article on the topic
Wikipedia list of Pink Floyd tribute bands
There several places where people could add bands to Wikipedia or update existing articles on Floyd tributes. No one has bothered to create a Which One's Pink? article and I'm not allowed to do so by the Wikipedia rules
Check out Which One's Pink?'s Pink Floyd Tribute CD "Just the Basic Facts" at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/whichonespink

That was a mistake. They had them in the original list and I took what was on the list and inserted it alphabetically in my list. I must have gotten distracted because I did not mean to omit them

The weird thing is, as of last November, that Wiki list of Pink Floyd tribute bands was HUGE, and included links to most of the bands' websites, and some had their own Wiki articles like The Machine does. I noticed a while back that the list had been pared down significantly, and now it's a VERY short list. Actually, the tribute list was originally part of the Pink Floyd Trivia article, which was completely deleted a while back. I think that's when the tribute band list became it's own article and started shrinking. I realize many bands may now be defunct, but that many? ???
Check this out:
http://pink-floyd.com/
Partway down the page there's a section called Cover Bands... the Wiki list used to be comparible to that (minus the band descriptions).
Actually, I just went into that Wiki article's History page and clicked on Compare Selected Versions and found this (see "older edit" also):

W1P Wrote:I think Wiki has a "notable" standard that they use. Just being a "tribute band" is not sufficient. I think they require that there be 3rd party media articles that reference the band and/or something special they have done. So, in the Machine's case, there would have to be a link to the Spin article, the Rolling Stone article, etc.
I do remember that the word "notable" used to be in the title to the list, back when it was longer... probably someone decided a lot of them weren't actually notable... makes sense.
