Hello, all. Nice idea for a thread.

I am Peter and as my name suggests I used to work for a certain large concert promoter. I have no official affiliation with, but have been long-time friends with, a fan of, and a collaborator with THE MACHINE.

I created their first website, took many of their early photos and designed three of their album covers (Softly Spoken Magic Spells, Two Nights at the Keswick, and Unplugged).

As for the band, THE MACHINE is probably the oldest surviving PF tribute, having started around 1988. They cover pretty much the entire catalog of PF and have been known to jam out in the spirit of early Floyd, and play for hours.

THE MACHINE was featured in the August 2006 issue of Relix Magazine and the Rock Report admires The Machine's "perfect execution and attention to detail leading to flawless reproductions of Pink Floyd's songs yet the freedom to jam and improvise adds even more flavor and depth to the established catalog." As Guitar One magazine notes, "you know you've got it going on when you sell out BB King's in New York City and Roger Water's sax player jams with you."

Though they mainly play the east coast of the US, THE MACHINE has performed several times in Europe and is about to tour Latin America.
