:D You should dig out the Krautrock thread I did ! I love Neu I Have Neu (fisrt) but would love to get Neu 72, as that sounds amazing. They are the prototype for Joy Division. The surf/neu! thing sounds cool! (strangely, i tried doing surf rock last night - slap-back echo!!!)

"Slapback echo" is what Phil "Wall of Sound" Spector called the reverb-saturated effect he used to feed John Lennon's vocals through, most notably on much of the Imagine LP. It's an awesome effect deployed well.
