Hi im new here. Im 17 and have been a fan of the Floyd since i can remember (my earliest memory is of the end of In the flesh?). I also started to listen to Gilmours solo works at the start of this year and then Waters solo works about 6 days ago. Lol. (I bought the In the Flesh Cd/DVD and when i heard his solo songs I was imediatly hooked. So I went and bought all three of his solo albums 2 days later.)

nooooooooooo say it isn't so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sorry cevor, you know i love you hammers

but, all jokes aside, i get freaked out about getting older all the time. i think, "wow, it feels like i was just 15 and now i'm 20. that means 25 will come so fast." and you know what's after that. 30. i don't even want to think about it.
of course a ....woofie on the other hand..... glare

I am 17 (I still can't believe that. I just turned 17 and it seems crazy to me. I still feel like a 12-year old)
I've been a Floyd fan a year and half I think. But I've loved Roger for a while. I watched Comfortably Numb on my dad's The Wall Live in Berlin DVD a few years ago and I just really really liked Roger's voice and movements and expression. I dunno.. he just had this quality..
And then a year and a half ago my dad said it was time for me to hear Dark Side of the Moon so he got me that. And then Wish You Were Here. And now I am a much much bigger fan than him (he isn't even a huge fan.. he hasn't heard much other than DSotM and WYWH and The Wall).
But he took me to see Roger Waters in Hyde Park this summer which was the greatest experience of my life. Ever. Ever ever..
Don't have any Floydian friends where I live now as I just moved here. But in my old school I managed to convert several people to Floydism and I'm currently working on it here.
