I love The Doors. I'm not fan but I suppose I will. I'll tell you about my impressions from their concert at the Hollywood Bowl '1968.

But I wonder what fan sites with forums about The Doors exist.

I still have my Doors live album from the 70's, clasic. I don't enjoy a lot of the videos around. It's hard to watch Jim drunk & stoned out of his mind tring to perform. I don't think he knew were he was half the time.

The Doors are so awesome. I took a road trip to WV this weekend and had mostly DOORS discs. Strange Days is fine, but Their first and LAWoman are much better. All their albums have unique flavors. I love Ameriican Prayer and Soft Parade. Never got into post JDM DOORS, though.
I did see 21st Century DOORS in Connecticut with Ian Astbury. It was cool to see Robbie and Ray perform, but it's not the same without JDM.
I love JDM's poetry. He was so talented and thankfully his poetry inspired me to nourish the poet inside myself, and soon I will be a published poet. Thanks to JDM, or my poet inside would have died of thirst.

Not really a big fan, of course Floyd goes first on my list, then Zeppelin, somewhere under that they are. I have their greatest hits cd. But I can take them or leave them.

Yeah, The Doors are pretty cool. I need to dig out some of those old cds and give them a spin again. Got 'em all. 'LA Woman will always be my favorite of their's. "Riders" is such a powerful song. I like the post-Morrison material too....I don't think it was given enough of a fair shake. You miss Jim, but the music they were doing was strong as ever, imo.

Man I would have to say I love the doors they were all I listened to in 5th grade summer and somewhat 6th grade but 6th grade is when i really got into the Floyd but ya i love them!
I always had kinda a crush on Ray Manzarek he's the best.
