Happy music - what music puts you in a good mood?

Though I think "Don`t Leave Me Now" tops it for bleakness.

Mind you, depressing songs, films etc. can often have an up-beat effect on an audience. The idea of a catharsis - ie a purging of the emotions - through tragedy, goes back to Aristotle.
shes got it, and its not just the lyrics that make a song for me its usually guitar riffs and melody
I can understand Hey You. If your happy when you listen to it, you will feel worse, but since it is so good, listening to it while depressed helps you feel better somehow, at least for me.

yeah I dont like people like that. I dont mind people being nice, but when they're too nice I sometimes just want to poke them with sharp sticks. Like once, when someone introduced me to a cashier at the movie theatre... :Oo:
