I remember being somewhat disappointed with this when it was released, coming out on the heels of 'Jar Of Flies', so I never really gave it a fair shake. Now I'm curious to hear it again. Time to break into the piggy bank, I guess.
That's the one with the three-legged doggy. Yeah, Giz probably kept that one for herself. May be puppy love. You never know!

Yeah as with many others i like the quiter side of AIC, some of their heavy stuff is a bit metal but i still own all their albums. The unplugged is amazing and fun to play along with as well. Not sure if its been mentioned but Mad Season is a band consisiting of members from AIC (Layne on vox), Screaming Trees (Mark Lanagen vox, Martin Barret drums), Pearl Jam (Mike McCready guitar) and "Barret" on bass. It is an awesome album and one of my favorites of all time. Check it out it was 1995 and called Above.

1. Jar of Flies
2. Dirt

I really need to acquire some more of their cds. I think the "Unplugged" one will be next on my list. I have heard many good things about this one.

But I can tell you this: I simply fell in love with this band. They are so awesome and have such fine music. They are incredible. Probably would have gone largely ignored by me if not for Whong and his exemplary musical taste . Thanks so much!

I wish Layne Staley was still alive. What a tortured soul he was. He had an incredible voice.

I am currently trying to find the album art for "Dirt" so I can upload it and use it as my avatar. Having problems though. Every link I find with the "Dirt" art I try to upload on here for my avatar, and it won't let me. GRRR!
If you like jar of flies you will love the unplugged set.Really by far it was the best unplugged show ever done and also suggest getting it on dvd.
I just recently purchased the DVD from Amazon, Bigdog, and you are right! This DVD rocks.
