The Big Apple is amazing, not for everyone though.

With my Dad's job he had his own apartment out there on 87th and Lexington. I went there like 8 times a year for a few years.

Love the big city atmosphere.

The Bridges, South Side Street Seaport, Yankee Stadium, Rockerfeller Center, Times Square... almost too much to take in.

My family is still kicking ourselves b/c the World Trade Center was always something we would do "next trip" never got to see it except from a distance. I guess in the back of our heads we would get there next time b/c it would always be there. :(

Seriously, i love new york, and hope to go again in the recent future. Glad you had a great time.

Lived there for 14 years of my life. 'Tis grand. Wouldn't want to live anywhere else in the world. Cool

I went once, and I don't particularly want to again. I don't like cities. Packing 1 million + people in a few square miles is a bad idea.

It must be fantastic if it gets your approval.

It isn't for everyone. I grew up there, so I'm used to everything being crowded, stores being open 24/7, bright lights, clear highway signs (unlike NJ), etc. Coming to Jersey was difficult. :(

Jersey is still huge though. We have 7,000 people MAX in out small town of New Carlisle. It's a mile to the city limit from anywhere in the town. Actually, less. It's about a 10 minute walk from my house. Sheesh.

I want to be an NYC eccentric anti-folk Beat weirdo who makes film collages of people having sex with needles in their backs.
So you all can kiss my bottom.

Not really. I like NYC though, and I'll never afford to live there but I would if I could.
