I sometimes wish I could tell people I'm not a human - I don't want to be "lumped in with" people like this. How could these people do that?

In Gaithersburg, MD, I was walking into my hotel, and there was someone lying on the floor just inside the door. I walked in, and saw this little old lady (she must have been 70-ish) lying there, face down on the rug, moaning.
I looked behind the counter and saw this girl behind there, sort of looking at me, wondering what was going on. I was thinking, "WTF? You got someone lying on the floor and you just STAND THERE?"
So I knelt down and put my hand on the little lady on the floor, and asked, "Are you alright?"
She said, "Umm, uhh..."
I asked her if she was hurt anywhere (she could have broken her hip or something!).
"I don't think so."
So I asked her to slowly move and roll onto her side and sit up, checking her as she moved. Then I helped her up and asked her if she needed anything - did she want a glass of water or anything. I helped her to the counter, asked her if she wanted to sit in a chair, etc...
She said, "I tripped on the rug!" I saw the rug was wrinkled, and recommended to the "LOST GIRL" that they tape down the edge of the rug and maybe do something for this lady. She had this dazzled look and said, "Ohh, umm, OK, I'll see if I can get the maintenance crew in here..." OMG... I went over to the rug and straightened it out, though they needed to move that rug elsewhere.

Good deed for the day, I moved along. But it irked me then, and it irks me to this day... How can anyone NOT recognize someone needs help? And HOW IN HELL can someone deny that person the help they need?

Sorry, but it really pisses me off.

I know what you mean, Artie. I've always heard people are like flowers & weeds, it's too bad we can't get rid of the "weeds". That muslim extremist that blew himself up at that wedding yesterday was something else, what a fool. When I heard that I thought there's another worker for Lucifer's pig farm.

Eww, both of those stories are messed up! WTF is wrong with people? This kind of crap is going to be what destroys the world, not environmental problems.

BTW I found this article on the Wichita Eagle which is referenced in that video: http://www.kansas.com/201/story/112757.html

Wow! What's wrong with those people ...
Here, a man gave a bbq. After the party some guests helped cleaning the table ... a woman was going to put leftovers in the freezer ... She discovered the death bodies of the man's wife and kid in there ... :Oo: They had a fight and stabbed them to death ... he didn't explain yet why he put the bodies in the freezer. ??? :Oo:

Reminds me of a couple of weeks ago, when it was pouring down rain and I walked into the mega-supermarket chain around here.

There was this blind guy who was pretty dirty wearing a plastic bag (as rain gear) bent over trying to touch the giant fan the supermarket was using to blow away the dampness on the floor in the entry-way.

Nobody was helping him. Everybody was just walking past and staring.

I asked him if he needed help, explained to him that that thing he was hearing was a giant fan, and let him cluch my t-shirt as I walked him to the customer service desk so he could cash some checks.

My good dead for the day.

Indeed, jumpy :)

What was really sad about that wedding was the bride & groom was killed plus 15 more andaround 20 was injured.
