It would seem you have an issue that perhaps you could benefit from exploring?
Protestants make me think of excessive alchohol drinking. It's a stereotype I know, but what can I say.

I was joking
I know. But I was still feeling guilty about my undeserved stereotype of those fine, upstanding, uptight, drunken protestants.

:D
Well, you know, it's not that all protestants are alcoholics, it's that they all happen to be Irish.

Water
When I was a kid I never even knew Irish people could be protestants. The ones I knew were all Catholic. But that's the way it is in NY. You're either Catholic or Jewish. I didn't meet a protestant til I moved.

I am really enjoying this conversation, but perhaps we should start a Catholic/Irish stereotypes thread or something?

When we talk on PM I tend to fill up my inbox rather quickly. We can both ramble on for quite some time it would seem.

What can I say? I don't like reading Floydian72's posts.
