Ummmmm at the risk of sounding stupid and unedumacated (yes I meant to say unedumacated) what the hell is a sanguine?

Piper is a good album and one would think it would be much more interesting news than that or my More fraternity.

Quote:Damn.....over 100 wildfires in Florida and Georgia right now. There's smoke eveywhere! Everwhere you look, there's a smokey haze and the smell of burning forests. All the wind from the storms out in the Atlantic is really fueling all this activity, which was probably started by all the bad lightning we had over the weekend. Never saw anything quite like this down here!

REPENT!!!!!!!!!!!

AND THOU SHALT BE SAVED!!!!!!

Seriously though, its crazy all the weather men are predicting is Smoke. Not partly cloudy or sunny... nothin like that... just smoke.

The captain I'm flying with is a real weirdo. Nice guy, but kind of strange. I was trying to think of who he reminds me of, and then I remembered: for any Reno 911 fans out there, he's just like the FBI guy, in that one episode, when they're searching for Ray Mendoza. He's sort of incompetent and irritating, but strangely, amusing. He even looks like the FBI guy. I can't complain too much, though; he bought me a cookie.

Rick Wright 1943-2008. I will never change my avatar.

You should have been down here for our spring...summer...oh crap and autumn!

Every year we get crazy bush fires and every 5-7 years we have to employ American, Canadian and nz firefighters to try and help.

My state is the most fireprone area in the world!

I love the smell of burning gum trees though...it reminds me of home :) even if their's that little annoying tug at your subconscious that demands a plan.

This is completely random, but are people in Australia familiar with the names and locations of many of the U.S. states? :upside:

It varies.

All of us know the general areas, i.e. California, Florida, Texas...You know the obvious ones and in general many know the other areas...I'm probably in the middle of the two, leaning towards general areas...I roughly know where everything is.
