New Pink Floyd book to be released

People, I think it's pretty obvious why this is "Roger Waters debut album with the Pink Floyd": look at the source! Roger Waters Online. Of course they're going to point out that it's his first album with the band, it's his solo site...

Anyway, in response to games for may... Roger Waters may have had the vast majority of sway over the band after syd left, but one can't deny that Piper is a Syd album, at heart. Roger gets a grand total of one solo credit, while Barrett gets eight. As well, no one is really sure who asked Syd to leave, Gilmour has said it was probably Waters but Rog has never admitted to it. As for Syd's joining the band, I've never read it was Roger specifically who asked Syd to join, and while he was with them he just happens to have contributed their name... further, I've never read that Roger scheduled all the practices and tours, although I suppose it's not out of the realm of possibility.

can i ask why this "gamesformay" character has such issues with anyone complimenting the other members of the band beside Roger Waters?
They have obviously completely missed the entire point of the music in general ... Pink Floyd did not embark out to prove each other better from one ... but to create good music for the people ... as a BAND.

... and may we now let this tiresome subject +Rest In Peace+
