The Wall Live in Berlin DVD to be released

Roger Waters' "The Wall Live in Berlin" DVD is set to be released on June 17, 2003. This will be the film's debut on disc format. A VHS of the concert was released shortly after the July 21, 1990, concert. The DVD will feature the following extras: 5.1 surround sound (supervised by Roger Waters), a 30 minute documentary about the lead up and days events, animated feature by Gerald Scarfe, design feature by Mark Fisher, unseen footage showing Rupert Everett as "Pink", and a Gerald Scarfe and Roger Waters commentary option.

I have heard that a newly remastered CD of this concert will also be released around the same time as this DVD, as well as a SACD version. I cannot find any information about this, however. Has anyone else heard of this, and if so, do you know any details (whether there will be bonus tracks, etc.)?

Yes, just got this info today in fact. This is from the June edition of the Brain Damage newsletter (http://www.brain-damage.co.uk):

ROGER WATERS - THE WALL LIVE IN BERLIN 1990 Well, quite a lot has been released finally. The US is having to wait for the 24th June for their goodies - four versions all in all: DVD (standard "Amaray" case, CD jewel case), double SACD, and double CD. Elsewhere Universal have gone for a hybrid double SACD, negating the need for the seperate releases. Not overly sure why they've seperated them off, but anyway - if you can play it, the SACD has much better sound than the DVD even!

I have had the video for a long time, but just bought the DVD a few days ago. Have not watched it yet....but I am sure that I will love it. :)
