He played on the Brian Ferry song "Is Your Love Strong Enough" from the movie "Legend", released in 1985. He's also on the Peter Cetera album "One More Story", as is Guy Pratt, released in 1988. I know he's on the song "You Never Listen To Me" and I think one other.

Almost forgot to mention he's also on the Arcacia album (Duran Duran members), 1987.

Robert Wyatt, Cuckooland.

But why not just do a search for him on AllMusic.com and look at his 'appears on'' section.

His stuff on Kate Bush's Sensual World is good.

Ha,ha. That`s brilliant! My kind of dry humour.

Dave Gilmour discovered Kate Bush as a 14 yr.& launched her career of course.

Production work also includes the song "Kerb Crawler" by Hawkwind (their album "Astounding Sounds, Amazing Music"-1976) on the old Charisma record label.

Hawkwind-the ultimate Space Rock band-check them out, if you like `Saucerful of Secrets`- era Floyd. ("Motorhead" was a Hawkwind song, recorded prior to Lemmy`s sacking in `75).[/color]

Gilmour appeared on at least three Roy Harper albums, namely 'HQ', 'The Unknown Soldier' and 'Once'. The sleeve notes on 'Once' tell us which tracks Gilmour plays on, while on 'The Unknown Soldier' and 'HQ' it's left up to you to spot his guitar parts, but it's not too hard!
'The Unknown Soldier' features Harper's take on 'Short and Sweet', their joint composition which also appears on Gilmour's first solo album.

Dave made a guest vocal appearance on the 1985 Nick Mason & Rick Fenn album Profiles. He sang on a very pretty little song called Lie For A Lie. His guitars stayed home that time.

He also appeared uncredited on Give Birth To A Smile, the final song of the 1970 Roger Waters & Ron Geesin album The Body, as did Mr Mason and Mr Wright. Keeping it all in the family, so to speak.
