RE: How do you rate the albums?
I find it hard to rate Rogers albums cause I love each one on different merits. Pros and Cons I think is a brilliant album, very well put together and the concept is original. Kaos, even though it sounds very 80s-ish, has some outstanding tracks, Me or Him, Who Needs Information and The Tide is Turning are 3 of my favourites. Amused to Death is a great album. I find it gets a bit slow in places but generally that album is supurb.

And any fool knows a dog needs a home.

Even his non-album tracks are just wonderful! He does more single songs now than he does albums, and most of those are just very heart! The Last Mimzy was like "Damn he still has it!" Beirut is good after every listen, as is Small Candle. He might not be commercial, but he's so much more heartful and willing to sacrifice his name for what he believe in!

1. Amused to Death is a near masterpiece.
2. Pros & Cons is still very Floydian sounding, but lacking in a lot of musical direction.
3. Radio KAOS ... I love Rog, but this is not what I expected. I mean both he and Dave went all 80s in the 80s like everyone, but thankfully both returned to their roots after that terrible leap. TDB and ATD were great albums.

KAOS is my favourite. Unfortuneatlely musically like most 80's albums it's sound and tonatlity is reminiscent of the period. Lyrically is has more relevance in the last 10 years than it has ever had.

Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking *****
Complete album and underrated masterpiece. Only gets dissed by people who haven't actually heard the album. One of the best things Roger has ever done.

Radio KAOS **
Not great. Listen to it very rarely. Roger's voice lacks expression. The less said about the concept the better.

Amused to Death ***
Have always struggled somewhat. Need to revisit it but has some golden moments, it's all a bit tedious and whiney.

Pros and Cons is my favorite as well. It takes a lot of twists and turns which I love.
