I'm surprised he even had an opener. That's a first!

Gilmour and an opening band? Strange :Oo:
I wonder if he'll have an opening band at the Royal Albert Hall?

where was this?? not at the U.S. shows...Icicle Works?? Those guys broke-up years ago...but apparently, their leader, Ian McNabb, revived the name for some shows & a record.

"Whisper To A Scream" was a pretty good song - but I think the 1987 album 'If You Want to Defeat Your Enemy, Sing His Song' is absolutely brilliant.

I know Guy Pratt played with Icehouse -- similar name, I guess - but I was never a big fan of theirs.

no problem - I'm a wealth of useless musical info - so I hope to be a productive contributor to this board.

Yeah - Pratt is probably BEST known for working with Floyd & members of Floyd - but I don't think he's ever really be "in" a band - he's a session guy and a hired gun (but a great one)...he's also played with the Orb, All Saints, Madonna, Roxy Music, Michael Jackson and Toy Matinee.

He is in a band called The Transit Kings - which has one of the guys from the Orb in it.

I think he also does some acting...talented guy!

Also - if I'm not mistaken - he's married to Rick Wright's daughter.
