Wow, just read at http://www.davidgilmour.com that Arnold Layne was played for the first time since 1969 :O ! Rick even sang on it :D :O :D!

Any word about a possible bootleg of this show?

I can't wait for the DVD.

Also, Gilmour should do this just to piss Waters off (just for fun):

Set the controls... would be rubbish at a Gilmour show. But 'On The Turning Away' would be a cool addition.

Seeing as he has played 'AL' does this mean there's a chance of him adding 'The Narrow Way'?

I really don't think you guys should get your hopes up that much. I mean, yes, Arnold Layne is a fantastic song and it was shocking to find out that they actually played it, but The Narrow Way? Dave has had 3 solo albums, and SO MUCH more work w/ Floyd after Ummagumma. I doubt Dave would ever play TNW again, but it is possible that he could pull out some songs from the "vault", so to speak.

Sorry but this doesn't go down well with me.A pretty weak attempt.Though it must be good to hear on the night.

Thanks for the link! Very interesting... Rick's voice is fairly shaky, but he gets stronger as the tune goes on. I bet that if they played it a few times live, it would really come together. It sounds like an old ghost lurching back to life.

It's funny --Rick sang so much harmony in the early Floyd, so hearing those Syd songs, it's almost like hearing Syd do it. Of course, the organ solo was brilliant... I LOVE those early solos Rick used to do.
