Dave guitar solos are great and it is obviously what he focuses on most. It's also the only thing Broken China is slightly lacking in. As for a new album hopefully. I read somewhere when he was geting interviewed about OAI that he was hoping that it wouldn't take him 20 yrs to write his next album.

Well from interviews, I gathered that David would definitely like to do another tour, and therefore make another album. He enjoyed the whole On An Island thing immensely. I personally cannot wait for his new album. It's so obvious that he has perfected his guitar playing. He might not have that raw, raging sound he had before, but I kinda like his mellow stuff.

At first I was a bit sceptical. I didn't like OAI all that much but always liked the first two tracks. However, after going to see him perform the album live on his tour in May (at the Royal Albert Hall), I fell in love with the album. It sounded so much better live, and now have a new found respect for it. I listen to it quite a lot now. I really appreciate it.

The comment about getting sick of David's guitar solos, well I do not agree with that in the slightest. It's mind boggling how anybody could get bored of his solos. They are calculated, precise and perfect and that is why I love them. He has complete control over his guitar, it's a treat to listen to.

As soon as he announces his new tour, I will be booking my tickets. The experience I had in May was absolutely breathtaking. Every track he played perfectly bar one or two mistakes.

dude Take a Breathe in the RAH was amazing the whole place lit up with the strobe lights and the middle section it was more powerful my eyes were going funny. The teaser on the OAI bonus dvd loses what it was really like there sadly glare

I meant it as a pun. He said it was "breathtaking".
