Okay, man...spill the beans here...what else was played?? That's great news that WTIO will be a concert staple, but we want more!

Just go to Davidgilmour.com and read the posts about the first concert......what a treat we are all in for....except for me ,as our man DG will not be anywhere near me as I live in western Canada. But ECHOES.........holy smoke....brilliant! And Wearing the inside out too!

Well, it got played, it seems! I'd love to hear it... obviously it will sound different because the female backing vocalists aren't on board.

Yeah...it's one of the quieter songs, until Dave's lead kicks in. Parry's sax sounds superb, and those vocals formerly sung by the girls on record are now sung by the combo of Gilmour, Pratt, and I think, Jon Carin. It's different, and I wasn't sure I liked it at first, but it grew on me by the second time I played it. This was from the BBC broadcast, btw.

Rick really lets loose on his keyboard solo in the middle of the song. All the lighting effects were directly on him, in what looked like a small solar flare.....most definately a spine-tingler of a moment!! Rick rocks!

Rick sounds great throughout the whole song... As does Parry. The backing vox are a bit weird, but I think it will grow on me. The COULD leave some of the backing vox out... just let Rick sing part of it alone, then let the other guys come in later.

This live version of Wearing The Inside Out was brilliant, good to see Rick back in vocals & it reminded me of how great The Division Bell album was.

As salt resolved in the ocean
I was swallowed in God's sea,
Past faith, past unbelieving,
Past doubt, past certainty.
Suddenly in my bosom
A star shone clear and bright;
All the suns of heaven
Vanished in that star's light.

As much as I like Wearing The Inside Out I would much prefer to hear them play On The Turning Away instead.
